Opportunities for Undergraduates

Undergraduates can get involved in the lab as research assistants (RAs), with opportunities to earn course credit (e.g., PSYX397) or move into paid positions after getting started. We get a lot of interest, so when choosing new RAs we look at things like how long someone has been waiting, their interests and availability, and what the lab needs at the time.

Most students start with a semester as a volunteer and then continue in later semesters for either credit or pay (not both at once). That said, we can be flexible—for example, if volunteering first isn’t doable, starting with course credit might be an option.

We ask all undergraduates who are interested in becoming a research assistant to fill out the form below. If you have any questions/concerns, please email our lab manager, Leyla (leyking@iu.edu).
